Who can take part

Two kinds of partners: RenderBid customers, who are enrolled automatically when they pay, and Preferred Partners (suppliers, distributors, manufacturer representatives, coaches, and trade associations) who are invited by RenderBid and may sign a short separate agreement. RenderBid owners, employees, and contractors on RenderBid's payroll cannot earn rewards.

What counts as a referral

A referral is a contractor business that RenderBid was not already talking to (not an open lead or deal in RenderBid's records in the last 90 days), that arrives through your personal link or QR code, through the referral form in your portal, or through an introduction by name to the RenderBid team. Credit goes to one partner per referral: the first partner whose link or entry brought them in. RenderBid's records decide. You cannot refer yourself or your own business.

How rewards work

Customers earn $500 cash for every contractor you refer who goes live on RenderBid. Preferred Partners earn $750 cash, rising to $1,000 as you refer more for every contractor you refer who goes live on RenderBid.

• Preferred Partners, Referrals 1 to 4: $750
• Preferred Partners, Referral 5 and up: $1,000

A referral earns its reward when the referred contractor has paid, gone live on RenderBid, and stayed a paying customer for 60 days. If they cancel before then, no reward is owed. Free months of RenderBid are applied as a credit on the customer partner's own RenderBid account and have no cash value. Cash rewards are paid by bank transfer, contractor payment, or check, at RenderBid's choice, after the reward is due. You can follow every referral and every reward in your portal.

Quarterly prizes

Each calendar quarter, the partners with the most paid referrals in that quarter win:

• 1st place: $1,000
• 2nd place: $500
• 3rd place: $250

A quarter with fewer than 2 paid referrals across the program has no prizes. Ties go to the partner who reached the count first. Winners are announced in the first week of the next quarter by email and on the leaderboard. No purchase is needed beyond being a partner, and prizes are void where prohibited. Prizes are based on performance, not chance.

Taxes

Cash rewards and prizes are income to you. RenderBid asks for a W-9 through a secure upload before the first cash payment and issues a Form 1099 when your total for the year reaches the reporting threshold (currently $600). RenderBid does not give tax advice.

How you may promote RenderBid

Share your link with people you know or reasonably expect to welcome it. No spam, no bought lists, no texts to anyone who has not agreed to hear from you, and no false or exaggerated claims about RenderBid or its results. Do not bid on RenderBid's name in search ads or present yourself as RenderBid. If your employer has rules about accepting referral fees from vendors, you are responsible for following them and for telling the contractor about your reward where required.

You are an independent referrer

Partners are independent. You are not RenderBid's agent, employee, or representative, and you cannot sign anything or make promises on RenderBid's behalf.

The leaderboard

The public leaderboard shows your first name, last initial, company name, and paid referral count. To be left off it, write to Support@RenderBid.com.

Changes and ending

RenderBid may change future rewards, prizes, or these terms with 30 days' notice by email; rewards already due are paid on the terms in place when they became due. You can leave the program at any time. RenderBid may remove a partner who breaks these terms, and a reward earned through a breach is not owed.
